Leamington is full of curious and interesting people.
Since our first event in 2015, the town has welcomed both PechaKucha Leamington Spa and, more recently, Creative Mornings events.
If you want to see local talks presented in globally-franchised formats, Leamington Spa really is the place to be.
We believe there’s room for all of these fantastic platforms and that working together can only make us more powerful than the sum of our parts.
So to that end – for one night only – the #TEDxLeam organisers recently swapped ‘behind the scenes’ for ‘centre stage’ as they each presented a 6 minute and 40 second talk over a series of 20 images.
As volunteers, we’re not allowed to give TEDx Talks, so it was a cool way of turning the tables and giving our team the experience of preparing and delivering a talk to a live audience (and then have it uploaded online for the world to watch!)
The event sold out and everyone did us proud – with nine talks on very diverse topics, all delivered in the trademark style of each individual speaker.
The talks will be uploaded here very soon, and you’ll be able to see for yourself how Alan, Ian, Minnie, Craig, Kimberley, Suzee, Peet, Darren and Chris all got on.
